What is RR Savings and how do I remove it?

2
Lately I have been noticing an overwhelming amount of ads in my browser. mostly annoying banner ads at the bottom of each page that say "Brought to you by RR Savings". In addition to banners it shows advertising for products from vendors such as Walmart and Target. I am assuming this is adware or some sort of malware as herdProtect does detect a number of related infections. But before I remove these adware files I would like to understand what RR Savings is and how it got onto my PC.

There are a lot of options for toolbars and annoying ads to get into your computer.
You could missclick one ADS in the past, you could have visited a malicious website with bad java scripts, these scripts can automatically install stuffs without asking you to. It depends.
You could start by checking your browser addons and settings, and remove everything else. If you can, unistall your browser "Back up your bookmarks / history" and then when ask to delete personal settings and files, click yes!.

Run a full scan with herdProtect, see if it detects any leftover or actual malware running in your system.
Reboot after scan, run CCleaner and delete all cookies cache and temp files from your system.
Report back here.
