Getting redirected to chrome-extension/PAGEBADREDIRECT.HTML

0
Trying to access a page that was perfectly accessible till this morning.

Clicking on the page link - I see the page briefly,
then screen changes to a Blank screen with this address:

chrome-extension://bejnhdlplbjhffionohbdnpcbobfejcc/RedirectPages/PAGEBADREDIRECT.HTML

I have no idea what this means.

I don't even know if this is malware.

It does Not happen on Any other address i click on.

I arrived to this forum by researching the terms Chrome-Extension and PageBadRedirect.HTML - which appear in the address I'm re-directed to.

Would truly appreciate your help!

Thank you.

First, you should run a scan with herdProtect to identify possible malware running in your system.
Chrome itself, it's very weak when we are talking about doble click "Install hiden addons", thats why I use Gecko based browsers, Pale Moon works great.
If you have a redirection issue, you should look at your current addons installed in your chrome browser. There is a chance the addon installs himself as hiden or as a valid addon with a fake name.
The best chance here is to backup your historial and bookmarks, and completely unistall chrome, it also means deleting it's left over files. You should clean the c:\users\yourname\appdata\local and localow for any Google chrome files. Clean your temp folder, go to start, and type down %temp% hit enter. A folder will appear, delete everything in there, some files won't  be able to be deleted, do not worry.
Then re-install Chrome to see if your issue is fixed.
If not, restart your computer and boot in safe mode, run a scan now with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, report back here if you are ready to go.
